original goal for this page was to encourage our younger students
to read, think, and improve their communication skills. And having
fun while developing creativity is nice too!
But...
Learning more about Haiku myself, I discovered this form of Japanese
poetry is a fascinating method of expressing (and appreciating)
the "here and now." Kids, adults, and warriors all benefit
from this Art.

So, what is a 'Haiku'?
In
short, a form of Japanese poetry that expresses a 'truth' (a glimpse
or flash of the 'here and now') in 3 lines using very few, very
efficient words; however, for more information, take a look at the
